Backlog Backup is a tools app from Tilde Software. It was built around one idea: give people a tool that opens quickly, works when the network does not, and does not ask for an account before it is useful.

What you get

How it behaves
Everything that can happen on the device happens on the device. Where Backlog Backup does need a server, it tells you before it sends anything. Settings are plain, exports are open formats, and nothing is locked to this app if you decide to move on.

Backlog Backup is a one-off purchase. There is no subscription and no advertising.

Tilde Software reads every support message. If something is broken, write in and it gets looked at — the release notes name the people who reported each fix.

    Three stars down to two after this week. It logged me out and my local data did not come back. Happy to raise the rating once it is fixed.

  • Better than the big names

    Switched from a paid competitor and have not looked back. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Will update this review if that changes.

  • Better than the big names

    Surprisingly good for something this small. Updates are regular and the changelog actually says what changed. Give it a try before you pay for anything else.
