About this app

Backgammon with verified dice and a doubling cube.

Copperleaf Backgammon is a board app from Copperleaf Games. It was built around one idea: give people a tool that opens quickly, works when the network does not, and does not ask for an account before it is useful.

What you get
• Published dice fairness report
• Match play to any length
• Pass-and-play

How it behaves
Everything that can happen on the device happens on the device. Where Copperleaf Backgammon does need a server, it tells you before it sends anything. Settings are plain, exports are open formats, and nothing is locked to this app if you decide to move on.

Copperleaf Backgammon is free to download. Optional purchases remove advertising and unlock the full feature set.

Copperleaf Games reads every support message. If something is broken, write in and it gets looked at — the release notes name the people who reported each fix.

  • Good with caveats

Works well most of the time. Sync occasionally needs a nudge before it picks up changes from my other device.

  • Finally

Surprisingly good for something this small. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Recommended regardless.

    Sam T. · 3 months ago · version 6.0.5 · 65 found this helpful

  • Promising

Solid, but I am holding back a star for now. Importing from my old app lost some of my formatting. Will update this review if that changes.

  • Worth every penny

Been using this for about four months now and it has not let me down once. Support replied to me in under a day with an actual answer. Recommended regardless.

  • Finally

Been using this for about four months now and it has not let me down once. Updates are regular and the changelog actually says what changed. Worth the money.

  • Does exactly what it says

This has quietly become one of the apps I open every day. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Recommended regardless.
