How it behaves
Everything that can happen on the device happens on the device. Where Rate Compass does need a server, it tells you before it sends anything. Settings are plain, exports are open formats, and nothing is locked to this app if you decide to move on.

Rate Compass is free and supported by advertising. No purchase is required to use it.

Sandpiper Finance reads every support message. If something is broken, write in and it gets looked at — the release notes name the people who reported each fix.

  • Please fix the crash

    Was great until the last update. Now it crashes whenever I open the settings screen on Android 14. Will update this review if that changes.

  • Quietly excellent

    Switched from a paid competitor and have not looked back. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Will update this review if that changes.

    Good core app, a few rough edges. I would like more control over notifications — it is all or nothing right now.
