About this app

Run a regional airport through a bad weather day.

Airport Shift is a simulation app from Slate & Stone. It was built around one idea: give people a tool that opens quickly, works when the network does not, and does not ask for an account before it is useful.

What you get
• Gate and runway scheduling
• Weather disruption events
• Scenario campaign

How it behaves
Everything that can happen on the device happens on the device. Where Airport Shift does need a server, it tells you before it sends anything. Settings are plain, exports are open formats, and nothing is locked to this app if you decide to move on.

Airport Shift is free to download, with optional purchases for the advanced features.

Slate & Stone reads every support message. If something is broken, write in and it gets looked at — the release notes name the people who reported each fix.

  • Please fix the crash

Three stars down to two after this week. Ads started appearing in places that make the app hard to use. Worth the money.

  • Not what it was

Was great until the last update. Half the features I paid for moved behind a second subscription. Will update this review if that changes.

  • Nearly five stars

Works well most of the time. I would like more control over notifications — it is all or nothing right now.

    Jonas E. · 2 months ago · version 5.12.5 · 393 found this helpful

  • Finally

This has quietly become one of the apps I open every day. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Recommended regardless.

  • Broken since the update

Three stars down to two after this week. It logged me out and my local data did not come back. Worth the money.

  • Fast and out of the way

Switched from a paid competitor and have not looked back. The offline support is the real selling point for me. Will update this review if that changes.
