About this app

Stay in touch on purpose, not by accident.

Circleback is a social app from Northwind Labs. It was built around one idea: give people a tool that opens quickly, works when the network does not, and does not ask for an account before it is useful.

What you get
• Gentle reminders to reach out
• Private notes per person
• No feed, no followers

How it behaves
Everything that can happen on the device happens on the device. Where Circleback does need a server, it tells you before it sends anything. Settings are plain, exports are open formats, and nothing is locked to this app if you decide to move on.

Circleback is free to download, with optional purchases for the advanced features.

Northwind Labs reads every support message. If something is broken, write in and it gets looked at — the release notes name the people who reported each fix.

  • Better than the big names

This has quietly become one of the apps I open every day. Updates are regular and the changelog actually says what changed. Give it a try before you pay for anything else.

  • Finally

Exactly what I wanted and nothing I did not. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Happy to raise the rating once it is fixed.

  • My daily driver

Switched from a paid competitor and have not looked back. Starts instantly even on my old phone.

    Thandi N. · 3 weeks ago · version 7.4.4 · 386 found this helpful

  • Broken since the update

Was great until the last update. Ads started appearing in places that make the app hard to use.

    Freya G. · 3 months ago · version 7.4.4 · 289 found this helpful

  • Finally

Surprisingly good for something this small. Battery use is negligible, which I cannot say for the alternatives. Worth the money.

    Elena R. · 7 months ago · version 7.4.4 · 93 found this helpful

  • Does exactly what it says

Does one job and does it properly. Support replied to me in under a day with an actual answer. Recommended regardless.
